Last weekend, I came back from the Society of Ecological Restoration North American Conference (SERNAC), in Vancouver. I presented my work at the conference, for which I was selected for the Jean-Faubert Scholarship. Plus, I was also a member of the organizing committee and worked with the Society of Ecological Restoration (SER) for the past 6 months to make this event a reality. It was a great experience, and my presentation was in a session named 'Role of non-vascular plants in ecosystem restoration', which was really interesting. I am highly thankful to SQB for awarding me this scholarship, and I will try my best to contribute to the society's mission as much as possible.
